At Squeaky Feeky, our internal motto is simple:

We’re not focused on being the cheapest cleaning company in West Cork — we’re focused on being the most efficient and delivering the highest quality clean possible.

Our goal is to bring homes up to a standard where they feel fresh, presentable, and properly looked after, whether that’s for everyday living or preparing for guests.

As a growing business, we’ve put a lot of focus into building solid, repeatable systems so every job is carried out to the same high standard, every time.

Cleaning Isn’t Always What People Think It Is

One thing we’ve learned quickly is that cleaning is often misunderstood.

A proper clean, especially a deep clean, isn’t a quick tidy or a surface wipe. It’s detailed, physical work that often involves years of build-up being removed from areas that are usually overlooked.

We’re talking about:

  • Skirting boards

  • Behind and around furniture

  • Limescale build-up

  • Inside appliances like ovens, microwaves, and kettles

  • High-touch areas like switches, handles, and frames

If you would notice it as a guest, we clean it.

That’s the standard we work to.

Why We Often Recommend an Initial Deep Clean

Most homes we visit aren’t at a “maintenance” level when we first arrive, and that’s completely normal.

That’s why we usually recommend starting with an initial deep clean.

This allows us to:

  • Reset the entire property

  • Bring everything up to a high standard

  • Deal with built-up grime and detail work properly

From there, regular cleans become far more effective, because we’re maintaining a clean home, not trying to catch up with one.

Our Workflow: How We Clean Efficiently

To deliver consistent results, we use structured systems across every job.

The 2-Pass Cleaning Method

Instead of fully completing one room at a time, we work in two stages:

Pass 1 — Full Property Sweep

  • Remove clutter

  • Quick dust

  • Hoover throughout

  • Empty bins

  • Clear and reset surfaces

Pass 2 — Detailed Cleaning

  • Bathrooms

  • Kitchen

  • Finishing touches across all areas

This approach allows us to work efficiently across the entire home without getting stuck in one area for too long, while still delivering a high level of detail.

Time vs Standard

One of the biggest factors in cleaning quality is time. A quick 2-3 hour clean and a full-day deep clean are completely different services.

The more time spent on a property, the more detail we can achieve and the closer we can bring it to that “reset” standard we aim for.

We’ll always be honest about what can realistically be achieved within the time booked.

Communication Is Everything

Clear communication is one of the most important parts of getting a great result.

We always recommend that the person booking the clean is present during walkthroughs, so we can clearly understand priorities and expectations. We’ve learned (the hard way!) that different people in the same household can have very different ideas of what should and shouldn’t be done, and we want to make sure we’re all on the same page from the start.

What You Can Expect From Us

When you book Squeaky Feeky, you can expect:

  • A structured, professional approach

  • Attention to detail across the whole property

  • A team that doesn’t cut corners

  • Clear communication from start to finish

  • A focus on leaving your home looking and feeling properly clean

Final Word

We take a lot of pride in what we do.

Cleaning isn’t just about making things look better — it’s about creating a space that feels fresh, comfortable, and taken care of.

That’s how we roll at Squeaky Feeky.
